U.S. Passport Requirements for U.S, Bermuda, Mexico, Caribbean Travel

Effective October 1, 2007 U.S Citizens including children and adults traveling by air to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda must have passports to enter and depart from the United States. Traveling within the United States or its territories will not be affected by the new passport requirements.

Birth certificate(s) will no longer be an accepted form of travel documentation.

To use this system: Enter your nationality (by country of citizenship). If you are a Resident Alien of another country, then enter that country into the designated box. Select destination country and a pop up will produce the results for you. If you have popup blockers please disable for viewing.

Example: Hungarian Citizen, USA Resident, Destination is Mexico. Select Citizenship: Hungary., Alien Resident of: United States, and Destination Country: Mexico. Click on “Go”. You will be provided with a list of acceptable documentation for entry into Mexico based upon your residency and citizenship.
