Lost Luggage
Claim Process
In the unfortunate event your luggage is delayed, please keep in mind the following information:
- Report your claim immediately! Do not leave the airport until you have spoken with a USA3000 Airlines Agent or Handling Agent Representative.
- Passengers must report pilferage within 24 hours of arrival to our local airport office for consideration. Reports of pilferage after the initial 24 hours will not be accepted.
- A claim form (Property Irregularity Report - PIR) will be completed and tracing of the delayed bag will begin at your arrival station for 5 days. Everything possible will be done to trace for and recover your luggage and have it returned to you as fast as possible.
- If after 5 days we have not located and recovered your bag, your file will be forwarded to our Headquarters for investigation and resolution or settlement. A settlement file will be established, you will be asked to provide documentation in support of your claim.

Damaged Luggage
- Damage to your luggage must be reported BEFORE you leave the airport to one of the USA3000 Airline representatives. Claims for damaged luggage cannot be made after you leave the airport.
- USA3000 Airlines is not liable for damage to wheels, pull handles, zippers, zipper pull tabs, pockets, flaps, hangar hooks or locks attached to the bag.
- USA3000 Airlines will accept cloth, canvas, vinyl, and other soft-sided baggage as checked baggage, but accepts no responsibility or liability for damage to such baggage and their contents.
- USA3000 Airlines is not responsible for damage that does not impair the ability of such luggage to function, and specifically is not liable for damage arising from the normal wear and tear of handling, including scratches, scuffs puncture and marks.
- USA3000 Airlines is not liable for the loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of any fragile or perishable item or liquid, or damage caused to other contents of the bag caused by said fragile or perishable item or liquid. We are not liable for damage resulting from overstuffed, oversized or overweight bags.
Dangerous Goods
- USA3000 Airlines does not carry dangerous goods.
We are not responsible for loss, delay or damage to any item prohibited
from transport, whether USA3000 Airlines knew of its existence or not.
This includes lighters and items deemed as dangerous items by the Federal
Aviation Administration and Transportation Security Administration, confiscated
at security checkpoints (link to security information page).
Liability Limitations
USA3000 Airlines is not responsible for the delay, loss, or damage of the following items in checked luggage:
- Fragile or Perishable Articles
- Jewelry
- Money/Gift Cards/Certificates
- Cameras and Accessories
- Toiletries and Perfumes
- Paintings
- Artifacts
- Religious Articles
- Video and Electronic Equipment
- Silverware
- Negotiable Papers
- Securities
- Business Documents
- Antiques
- Manuscripts
- Cell Phones and Accessories
- Eyewear/Contact Lenses
- Medications
- Computers/Laptops
- Furs
- Liquor and Tobacco Products
- Irreplaceable Books/Items
